Shorn Carter first earned his money in Germany not as an electronics technician but as a fitness trainer. Thanks to recognition, he works today in Hamburg as an electronics technician specialising in motors and drive technology.

In 2013, Olga Trukhanova came to Germany from Ukraine. Today, thanks to recognition as a master hairdresser, she runs her own hair salon in Mannheim.

In 2015, Shadi Hajjo fled with his family from Syria. A skills analysis meant it was possible to determine his professional skills. Today he works as an electronics technician specialising in information and telecommunications technology.

In 2014, Gabriel-Adrian Bocec came to Germany from Romania. He had no professional opportunities in his home country and hoped for a better life here. Recognition as a mechatronics engineer for refrigeration technology means he is able to start working again in his profession.

In 2021, Gaurav Kumar from India fulfilled his dream of working in Germany. Today he has recognition of his professional training and is working as a motor vehicle mechatronics technician for a business in Bielefeld.

Ahmad Khazaal, a motor vehicle mechatronics technician, came from Lebanon to Germany in 2015. With a skills analysis he was able to receive recognition as a motor vehicle mechatronics technician.

Tayfun Tombul came from Turkey in 2011. After taking adaptation training in the context of the recognition procedure, he obtained full recognition of his Turkish training qualification as a motor vehicle body and vehicle construction mechanic.

Samad Hamuch risked it all. He gave up his training in Germany and applied successfully for recognition as an electronics technician specialising in automation technology. Today he is completely in his element.

Recognised and truly arrived – Tarek Khouli now works as an industrial mechanic and is fully integrated into his company. After fleeing Syria, he is now also very much at home in Germany in his private life.
