The “Working and Living in Germany” hotline run by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees and the Federal Employment Agency offers telephone guidance. You can reach the hotline Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Central European Time).

Are you living abroad and want to apply for recognition from there? The hotline will refer you to the Service Center for Professional Recognition (ZSBA). They will help you during the application and offer you individual counselling and support all the way through the recognition procedure up until your arrival in Germany.
