Construction occupations modernised

New training regulations will apply to 22 dual occupations from August 1st. The construction industry is at the heart of the reorganization. The job titles for four occupations are also changing.

Application for professional recognition possible

The training regulation and exact title of the German reference occupation are the basis for the recognition of foreign professional qualifications. Skilled workers can apply for the recognition of their foreign professional qualifications as soon as the training regulations for the new occupations come into force.

Information on the German reference occupations can be found in the Recognition Finder in the Skilled workers section of „Anerkennung in Deutschland“. The Profi-Filter here in the advisor section also provides information on the responsibility for and details on the recognition procedure.
