The Skills Analysis Network (NetQA) project is being extended to the end of 2022. The aim is to further establish skills analysis as a process in professional recognition.
From the initial advisory interview with those interested in recognition, via the search for experts and conducting the skills analysis, through to the decision on the equivalence of the professional qualification, the Skills Analysis Network (NetQA) project facilitates networking and exchange between competent authorities in all issues relating to skills analysis. As of 1 January 2022, the project is being extended by a further year. This also means the skills analyses special fund is being extended.
The Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) is responsible for the overall coordination and for knowledge management. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The aim of the project is to further establish the skills analysis process within the system of professional recognition and therefore encourage its extensive and long-term use.
The skills analyses special fund ensures financial support. Those seeking recognition who have no other funding option can apply for funding via the West German Chambers of Crafts and Skilled Trades’ Council (WHKT) or the IHK FOSA (Foreign Skills Approval).
The Chambers participating in the Skills Analysis Network (NetQA) project are on hand to support the competent authorities and Chambers in the established transfer regions in all questions relating to the skills analysis. The project partners, contact person and transfer region can be found via the map of Germany on the Skills Analysis Network project page.
