Pharmaceutical consultant (m/f)
As a pharmaceutical consultant, you work for companies that manufacture medicinal products. You provide advice to customers. You also inform doctors, pharmacies, hospitals, health insurance companies and institutions about medicinal products.
You can work as a pharmaceutical consultant in Germany if you have the necessary expertise. This is called professional knowledge. You have to prove your professional knowledge. Therefore, you need recognition of your professional qualification.
Your options
There are two ways to work as a pharmaceutical consultant:
In Germany, you can work directly as a pharmaceutical consultant if you have a qualification as a pharmaceutical sales representative. You need to have your professional qualification as a pharmaceutical sales representative recognised.
You might also be able to work as a pharmaceutical consultant with a different qualification. Do you have a professional qualification in pharmacy, chemistry, biology or medicine? In this case, you must have your professional qualification recognised. This way you can prove your professional knowledge.
