Responses to written inquiries to the hotline can take several weeks.

The “Working and Living in Germany” hotline run by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees and the Federal Employment Agency will answer your questions in writing or on the telephone.

Are you living abroad and want to apply for recognition from there? The hotline will refer you to the Service Center for Professional Recognition (ZSBA). They will help you during the application and offer you individual counselling and support all the way through the recognition procedure up until your arrival in Germany.
