Makers of orthopaedic footwear (master craftspersons) organise work processes in craft trade orthopaedic shoe making companies. They are also actively involved in the work, e.g. in the custom production of orthopaedic shoes, of inserts or orthoses. They are also responsible for the quality and marketing of their products, they provide support to customers, manage employees and are responsible for company-based training.
