Mine surveyors undertake specific duties under the Federal Mining Act. For example, they document specific geoinformation for the mining sector, and analyse and assess this geoinformation. Mine surveyors secure buildings for example, they are involved in the redevelopment of brownfield sites and work in the area of geomodelling and geoinformatics.
