Fields of work

Occupational therapists work in hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, psychiatric institutions, health centres, welfare centres or in specilaist occupational therapy practices. They are also employed in old people’s homes, daycare or residential homes for people with disabilities, outpatient services and in educational establishments such as special schools and early learning centres.

Professional experience

Occupational therapists advise, treat and support patients of all ages whose independence is limited or threatened by physical or psychological illness, disability or delayed development. They draw up individual treatment plans, provide treatments and conduct preventative measures.
